Message from the Rabbi

            Emanu-El is the warmest and most welcoming congregation I have ever known.  The people here are family.  This is my first year with the congregation, and we are so happy we came.   

            If I had to describe the congregation in one word, it is this: sincerity.  The members are kind and greet you with a smile.  We care about one another, and we care about our community.  We look after each other in time of difficulty; we find joy in each other’s children; we are a family. 

            And we are just the right size.  It is impossible to come to services here without being greeted and introduced and welcomed.  People come here and find friends.  Every child in the religious school is known by name.

            This is an exciting time for the congregation.  We have a new rabbi.  We are starting new programs in adult education, social action, and family Shabbat.  The congregation is vital and growing. 

            We welcome you to be a part of our family.
