If you purchase anything on line or use a search engine there is a way to do so that will benefit the temple and give you a tax deduction. It is EASY, go to www.igive.com and follow the directions.

Find your cause. For the state put in Florida. For ‘All cause types’ you can leave it alone. For key word search you must put in Temple Emanu-El, Sarasota Fl and click on ‘Find Causes’. The first one on the list should be our Temple, double click on it. |

On the right you will see a window “Select this cause!” Click on this window. Then fill out the registration information. You will also fill out your own password. Be sure to download their program. I suggest you leave ‘Yes, if checked” checked. This is a safe secure site. |

Your tax donation preference, leave I want to take a tax deduction for my shopping donations. Then click on Register. That’s it, you are done! |

To make iGive your search engine, download the ‘iGive.com toolbar’. There are several steps to complete the download. After downloading and running the program, you might have to use the drop down arrow on your search engine and select ‘iSearchiGive’ as your default search engine. This will give the temple one cent for each search. It is amazing how this adds up. |
Whenever you want to buy something on line go to www.igive.com and use the links on their site. This is the only way the temple gets credit and you get a tax donation.
