OUR COMMUNITY

_{Temple Emanu-El has always prided itself on being a congregation that shares with the wider Sarasota - Manatee counties in a variety of ways.  Our Thanksgiving Eve service with St. Martha's Catholic Church and the Bahia Vista Mennonite Church has been a part of the Sarasota community for years.  Our congregations join together in prayer and relish the comraderie that is established.  Our Early Learning Center is truly a community school open to Jews and non-Jews alike, drawing from the entire area and involving parents and faculty in an ongoing program of education that is recoginized as the finest in the area.}

_{Through the leadership of our Rabbi and our Social Action Committee we reach out to the entire community in service to the downtrodden, the needy, the aging and the infirm.  It is part of our devotion to the concept of Tikkun Olam and allows us to be a vital part of the greater Sarasota community.}
