Our dynamic curriculum is designed to vary in content, context and resources in each grade level. The subjects covered include, but are not limited to: Hebrew reading, Hebrew writing, Hebrew vocabulary, God, Jewish values, mitzvot (good deeds), Jewish history, T'Fillot (prayers), Israel, Torah and Jewish holidays.
In addition to classroom instruction, many other methods of implementation are utilized. Israeli dance, cooking, drama, music, and games are intergrated regularly into the curriculum. Temple Emanu-El serves children from kindergarten to tenth grade. Our school also prepares students for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation. |
